There was an inaugural Kodan performance of Kanda Hakuzan the 6th.

The tiny venue (established in freakin’ 1897) only offer same-day tickets at the box office, so we got the venue at 7am IN THE MORNING for the soirée ticket starting at 5pm IN THE EVENING. Surprise, surprise.

There were 370 devotees ahead of me, many of whom stayed overnight at the box office.

It’s called commitment, and you know what? It’s worth it.
